How far, How fast.
I shake even though I’m not sick
Already I can feel the needle
The glory of it all
Still I’m here waiting
O’ the waiting is enough to kill
Yet I have something stronger more beautiful something that can bring me to a state of euphoria the dope
Never
Ever could
Not the sex but the smell
To run my fingers through her hair ‘
And
Breathe
Feeling the skin
Fingers entwined
And the smile so real
But shes gone and the dopes still here
Still my friend
Enemy
This is how it is
And I’ve got no fingers to point
No one to blame
Just me
One could never ask for better
And I tried
The days, the weeks, the months, the years,
The jail and all the drugs don’t make it any better at all
my friend
The one who would tell me I was an asshole
Because I was
The one I’d Tell She’s crazy
Because she was
The one who would laugh when a hammer fell on my head
Or
Flush her keys down the toilet
Ripped skirt and all
when she came in after a shower
would shake her hair
and it smelled
Perfect
Already I can feel the needle
The glory of it all
Still I’m here waiting
O’ the waiting is enough to kill
Yet I have something stronger more beautiful something that can bring me to a state of euphoria the dope
Never
Ever could
Not the sex but the smell
To run my fingers through her hair ‘
And
