Sound waves curl around me
Caressing my aching soul
Like a lovers warm hands
Defrosting my chilled blood
Eyelashes flutter
As my tired lids close
Tears linger on the edges
A racing heart
Falters and beats stronger
Healing kisses
Nurse my bleeding wounds
Giving my darkness
Just a few more bright stars
