Returning

I have been away for quiet some time
The days, they did rush by
Before I knew a week had passed
Soon after another, and another
Captivated by the waves that did not cease to crumble
Tossed and turned
Every which way
But here I stand today.
With a happiness, excited to catch up
What has gone on?
What adventures have they embarked?
Reading their words
Forever endearing
Their poems, always so awe inspiring
Emotions so true
Begin to read is what I shall do
