Although from the outset this looks quite simple, it really isn't so. I mean, to come up with those words in that order. Try doing it, I'd say.
For me, this imagery seems the right way to start the day.
One more thing, I would go as far as to say this piece would even sit comfortably in the 'upbeat poems' section.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. There's nothing wrong with being simple; some of my favorite songs use only two or three chords and they're still beautiful.
