Fimbulwinter
The mighty winter coming forth
Before the tides of war
Bringing death in its wake
Bodies pile high in the snow drifts
Lady Hel's only gift
To those alive
Starvation is lingering here
Leaving the smell of fear
As the hunger sets in
Fimbulwinter are the days
For the last living
To face judgment for the ways
Of the past living
I survive by eating the dead
The last food on this bed
Of freshly driven snow
The ones that died are but a gift
To those living in this
Frozen Hel on earth
I bare witness to those last days
Of this Fimbulwinter
Counting the last of greys
Storm clouds rolling overhead
Instantly freezing recently dead
At night the wolves come to hunt
The world is falling, this descent
Fimbulwinter are the days
For the last living
To face judgment for the ways
Of the past living
Fimbulwinter freezing days
My strength is leaving
My breath fades slowly away
I'm the last living
Before the tides of war
Bringing death in its wake
Bodies pile high in the snow drifts
Lady Hel's only gift
To those alive
Starvation is lingering here
Leaving the smell of fear
As the hunger sets in
Fimbulwinter are the days
For the last living
To face judgment for the ways
Of the past living
I survive by eating the dead
The last food on this bed
Of freshly driven snow
The ones that died are but a gift
To those living in this
Frozen Hel on earth
I bare witness to those last days
Of this Fimbulwinter
Counting the last of greys
Storm clouds rolling overhead
Instantly freezing recently dead
At night the wolves come to hunt
The world is falling, this descent
Fimbulwinter are the days
For the last living
To face judgment for the ways
Of the past living
Fimbulwinter freezing days
My strength is leaving
My breath fades slowly away
I'm the last living
