The Wolf and The Snake

Beasts arise to taste man's air
Bursting forth from their lair
Born of hate and deceit
Poison burns in their veins

The monsters of burning wrath
Devour all in their path
Fight free from the abyss
Hungry and quite insane

"The wolf am I
Mighty, Fenrir
I will taste your flesh
I'm Odin's bane
The mighty wolf
Welcome Hel's caress"

Ragnarok has been foretold
By old men growing mold
Spiteful and full of angst
Loki's sons rise above

Slaughter across the nine realms
With the trickster at its helm
Sounding of battle horns
Loki's sun rise above

Oh, behold hate filled eyes
As Hel's minions march on us
Staining Midgard with defiance
The great serpent unveils
And brings destruction

Pitiless black orbs staring
From abysmal black depths
Awaiting bated breath
The monster arises

"The snake am I
Jormungandir,
With these mighty jaws
I am Thor's bane
At Ragnarok
I will destroy all"
