Funny Thing Called Pain
"Funny Thing Called Pain"
The funny thing about pain is once you experience it you never forget that feeling.
The way your heart races, your temperature rise, and thoughts now enduring.
The harsh memory of the one who said I love you, and made this dull life for once appealing.
The way you gave your all, heart, trust, and soul without being the least bit obscuring.
The funny thing about pain is once you experience it, you forever await its arrival.
The way it hits you, all thoughts, actions, and words are only then meant for your survival.
The fact that nothing will then make sense, and not even the lord can be your source of revival.
The way these memories are forever stored, like your personal archival.
The funny thing about pain, is that nothing about it is really funny.
The way it leaves you wondering how these moments, this person, their apparitions have u playing the role of a dummy.
The fact that you wanted to believe so bad, without thought your feet lift in effort to take off running.
The way in which you reach your destination, and pain has you standing there…just wondering.
