3-20 What a year!
Have you seen the sun
and shadows play
with the trees and mountains
and everything in between?
Have you felt the changes in the wind
and delighted in it's ability
to sting and calm
and soothe a troubled mind?
Have you taken a deep breath
and inhaled the moment,
catching a whiff of tomorrow,
washing away the foul of the past?
Have you felt the unequaled stir
of a lovers skin against your own,
rumbles of giggles and gasps,
and a heart that beats for you with love?
Have you seen the rain
kiss the earth
filling rivers and lakes
and dancing on your skin?

These wonders of creation
mesmerize and provoke my soul,
yet pale compared to the
year we just ended together.

Gosh, this just made my soul warm and fuzzy. What a lovely piece. Taking time to notice, observe, feel and enjoy the small things in life that go unnoticed. Yet, with all the wonderful light they bring, they still can't out-shine the glow inside the one you love. :) So happy to read new ink from you, Ken...Xo
