the night

I walk in shadows
bathed in moonlight
marveling in beauty
hidden from sight

I walk in shadows
and step with liquid grace
I find my stillness
my worries fall away

I look up in wonderment
at the glittering sky
reviling in the velvet darkness
of the night

There is no reason
of the dark to be afraid
there is beauty here
when the world is not awake
