Deadly love

I lay here next to my love
Look over to see her beautiful face
I think to myself how lucky I am
But suddenly I feel sad
Like none of this really matters
My life has all been a blur
I've had temporary moments of clarity
But that's all a lie in itself
I hold her hand and remember
That at least for right now
