We parted
Writing a poem today,
I thought of you,
Lost in a past,
That seemed,
Yesterday.
You were my muse.
As if in a dream,
I tasted again,
Your lips;
Caressed again,
Your body;
Hugged again,
You against me,
Me within you:
Slept again,
Entwined together.
And as my vision,
Was one more time,
Fogged in memories,
I regretted anew,
Allowing others,
To tell us,
We must part.
I thought of you,
Lost in a past,
That seemed,
Yesterday.
You were my muse.
As if in a dream,
I tasted again,
Your lips;
Caressed again,
Your body;
Hugged again,
You against me,
Me within you:
Slept again,
Entwined together.
And as my vision,
Was one more time,
Fogged in memories,
I regretted anew,
Allowing others,
To tell us,
We must part.
