ONE DAY IT WILL END

It started with racism and then a war,
we were judged for being rich or poor,
hate and revenge was all in one's mind,
forgetting to give, love and be kind,

fighting to protect our own for years,
knowing it will all end in blood and tears,
we have to hold hands and stand together,
for this war can not go on forever,

for our Father looks upon us,
to treat each other with love and trust,
there is no life to live in pain and sorrow,
we all pray for it may end tomorrow,

let's unite and see if this country we can mend,
for we all know that one day it will end.
