What Shall I Do
What would I do
If I reached out to you
If you reached out to me
If you took my hands
Make me weak in the knee
Then I’d have to hold on
Hold on to you until the feeling is gone
What if the feeling doesn’t go
Or goes and leaves me feeling low
Then what shall I do
So
What would I do
If I reached out to you
If you reached out to me
If you took my arms
Slid your hands up them, pulling me
Then I’d have to move forward
Move forward until I have to stop, until I’m cured
But what if I can’t be cured, what if there’s no way
And the soul feels sick and wants to stay
Then what shall I do
So
What would I do
If I reached out to you
If you reached out to me
If you wrapped your arms around me
If you held me close
Letting me feel your warmth, your heat
Then I’d have no where else to go, no one else to greet
But then what if I don’t want to go
And you don’t want to let me go
Then what shall I do
So
What would I do
If I reached out to you
If you reached out to me
If your hands came up to touch my cheek, my ear, my hair
If you moved my face to yours
If you pressed your lips to mine
Letting me have what I’ve wanted for so long a time
But then what if it wasn’t enough
And my body yearned for more
Then what shall I do
Oh then what shall I do.
If I reached out to you
If you reached out to me
If you took my hands
Make me weak in the knee
Then I’d have to hold on
Hold on to you until the feeling is gone
What if the feeling doesn’t go
Or goes and leaves me feeling low
Then what shall I do
So
What would I do
If I reached out to you
If you reached out to me
If you took my arms
Slid your hands up them, pulling me
Then I’d have to move forward
Move forward until I have to stop, until I’m cured
But what if I can’t be cured, what if there’s no way
And the soul feels sick and wants to stay
Then what shall I do
So
What would I do
If I reached out to you
If you reached out to me
If you wrapped your arms around me
If you held me close
Letting me feel your warmth, your heat
Then I’d have no where else to go, no one else to greet
But then what if I don’t want to go
And you don’t want to let me go
Then what shall I do
So
What would I do
If I reached out to you
If you reached out to me
If your hands came up to touch my cheek, my ear, my hair
If you moved my face to yours
If you pressed your lips to mine
Letting me have what I’ve wanted for so long a time
But then what if it wasn’t enough
And my body yearned for more
Then what shall I do
Oh then what shall I do.
