Sands of Time

This light that shimmers in the sands of time,
A mere moment but also forever,
The storm that rises and falls then abates,
Two bodies that reach for the crest,
Riding it as long as possible before falling into the abyss of time,
Shimmering in the light that isn't there,
Created by the warmth and glow of their creation,
The storm clouds gather and race trying to outrun they know not what,
Up and up the tornado races ,
Engulfing them in the warm embrace of nothingness,
Then lightning strikes and they fall,
Onto the soft richness that is their love,
Enfolded in timeless sheets of forever,
They hold each other close never letting go and as at the Beginning they ride the sands of time together eternally.......
