I do not share failures
Do not ask me for the motives that stir in my blood
If you only mean to tell me
That they tried their very best
And it still was not enough.
Do not tell me that there are words that I should not speak,
Because if the truth be told
It is your fallacies and hate that make you weak.
Do not dare to ask me not to pretend
And then politely request me to hide
The things you would rather not be said.
Do not tell me
What I feel, think, and what I need
Because in the end your sight is far to narrow
To comprehend what it is my heart seeks.
For we do not share a mind
Nor an able body
We are not in love, we are not friends
We are not family.
We are nothing,
We are absolutely nothing-
And do not tell me this failure is my own
Just because my everything was only
Your something,
Does not mean that I am too alone.
If you only mean to tell me
That they tried their very best
And it still was not enough.
Do not tell me that there are words that I should not speak,
Because if the truth be told
It is your fallacies and hate that make you weak.
Do not dare to ask me not to pretend
And then politely request me to hide
The things you would rather not be said.
Do not tell me
What I feel, think, and what I need
Because in the end your sight is far to narrow
To comprehend what it is my heart seeks.
For we do not share a mind
Nor an able body
We are not in love, we are not friends
We are not family.
We are nothing,
We are absolutely nothing-
And do not tell me this failure is my own
Just because my everything was only
Your something,
Does not mean that I am too alone.
