Through a Mother's Eyes

Through a mother's eyes,
She watches her children playing near by,
Her son is trying to build a castle made of sand,
But, his baby sister keeps trying to step on it, for she is to young to uderstand,

Through a mother's eyes,
She sits helplessly next to her daughter holding her hand while she cries,
A boy at school had been teasing her all out of fun,
All that day during recess in the hot afternoon sun,

Through a mother's eyes,
Her teenage son stands in fornt of her only to lie,
She caught him sneaking out late last night,
She shamefully turns her head away, for she knows that her sone is not right,

Through a mother's eyes,
She now sits at the bedside of her daughter who is so young and going to die,
She does not understand why her daughter must go,
But, if she must, please God tell her that I love her so,

Through a mother's eyes,
Sits a broken family that must overcome a great loss, but, somehow must learn the tools in order to survive,
And they shall, only because they share a strong, loving family tie!
