Honestly Wrong

I thought if I could prove how I felt we be
Maybe I was dreaming you opened to me
So I thought I share with you
Became an open book allowed you to read my diary
I figured the words you said meant something once spoken
Yet I was wrong to believe you could change
I told myself you'd stop being shallow
Eventually see this beauty everyone else saw
You could move behind weight
I kept trying believe you were in love with me
Just didn't see what I needed to
Honestly I was wrong cause falling for someone
Shouldn't hurt as much but the web of lies spent
We're so impressive  I believed maybe we could
Honestly we weren't ever meant to be
