Sick
Cracked.
Her body mangled in tortuous ways
Twisting grotesquely outward
Pale as the full moon
Illuminates the scars; self inflicted
Bruises to mask the shame
Shrouded in misery
Stranded and lonely in a lie
She shudders in the shadows
And the blade shares no comfort
Once all's lost, how to regain?
Curled on the floor
Bone to bone
Barely can the flesh be identified
Fate has dealt a deadly hand
Now she's without as she is within
Sick.
