Childhood rooms, Hilltops and Castles
And do you make your home now in all these places
Places that wère once my home too
As well as the home of my ancestors
Is it wishful thinking or am I just dreaming
Has my imagination gone a shade too vivid again
Or is it in fact all true what I am seeing in my mind's eye
You looking out from hilltops in white estates
Right there in the land of my forefathers
You trekking up the hill from the village
That still bears my family's name
To the castle that still bears my family's crest
And you drinking in the smells of the walls and corridors
Of the rooms where I once woke up each morning
Coming of age and where so much beauty happened between you and I
Since I feel you to be my other half and such strong part of me
It would only be fitting if this were so
and it makes me really happy to think of you there
So next time you are in one of these places
Picture me right there with you and sharing the view
From the childhood rooms, hilltops and castles
