Forever I'll Stay
Forever I'll stay,
As I gaze upon your complex simplicity.
Your face withholds my adoration,
Those eyes that pierce the world's condemnation,
For you see me, Not as the world see's me,
But as a flower see's the sunlight;
The dawn first embracing its' petals.
Warmth and Security.
Find me here, Always.
Forever I'll stay.
To count the hairs on your golden crown,
Those fingers and toes, withholding their microscopic perfection.
I'll pluck the darkness from your nightmares;
Guarding the safety of your dreams.
I'll count every breath that your little lungs will breathe.
I marvel at your innocence as you twirl at the song of life.
My daily complications strike you with confusion,
as your eyes plead to me :
"Why must you complicate this song of life; With your dynamics of strife and bitterness, and your articulation of hatred? Come dance, and come play. Come laugh, forever stay.'
So Forever I'll stay, my lovely Soleil.
I'll stand in awe of your loving simplicity.
For you, and only you, for this brief amount of time,
will understand the beautiful, incomplex, meaning of life.
As I gaze upon your complex simplicity.
Your face withholds my adoration,
Those eyes that pierce the world's condemnation,
For you see me, Not as the world see's me,
