The Mask
The Mask Covers My Face,
Covers The Real Me,
I Hide Behind It
So No One Can See..
It Hides The Pain,
The Suffering,
The Stomach Churning,
Depression I’m In,
The Constant Expression
Covering My Face,
Is One Of Buoyant
Jubilation,
Purpose And Grace,
But Underneath The Mask
And The False Exterior,
Lies A Crippling
Destructive Condition,
That Eats You Away From The Inside
Without Any
Sign Of Remission
Underneath The Mask
The Pain Eats Me Away,
But No One Can Tell
No One Can Say,
People See Me
Happy,
Joyful,
Carefree,
When Will They Notice
When Will They See,
But thats Just The Mask
Thats not the Real Me..
Covers The Real Me,
I Hide Behind It
So No One Can See..
It Hides The Pain,
The Suffering,
The Stomach Churning,
Depression I’m In,
The Constant Expression
Covering My Face,
Is One Of Buoyant
Jubilation,
Purpose And Grace,
But Underneath The Mask
And The False Exterior,
Lies A Crippling
Destructive Condition,
That Eats You Away From The Inside
Without Any
Sign Of Remission
Underneath The Mask
The Pain Eats Me Away,
But No One Can Tell
No One Can Say,
People See Me
Happy,
Joyful,
Carefree,
When Will They Notice
When Will They See,
But thats Just The Mask
Thats not the Real Me..
