creeping in the crevices

inky soot
dirty as mud
on ur boots

write about
every thing

even in the darkness
you will see the light
I rip bandages
from eyesight

words whirling
wicked wraiths
swirling in infinite
figure eights

timeless as
eternity
a debt we all owe
to mortality

once you embrace
that reality
each breath
has new vitality

as every star in the universe
