The Sky
the sky moves at a lackadaisical pace
clouds shapeshift in celestial space
the blue turns to white and back again
shadows cast upon the sunlights grin
the wind dances to the tune of the wind
whimsical silence echoes within
a minor to those who can hear
soul changing sounds from the inner ear
the sky shatters to the sound of a tear
as thunder and lightning draw ever so near
mournful rain pulls the color from light
with a deafening sound the blinding of sight
the sky dies within my own eyes
cascading grey across my wondering mind
the colors fade and blend with the wind
and are carried off to the sunlights chagrin
clouds shapeshift in celestial space
the blue turns to white and back again
shadows cast upon the sunlights grin
the wind dances to the tune of the wind
whimsical silence echoes within
a minor to those who can hear
soul changing sounds from the inner ear
the sky shatters to the sound of a tear
as thunder and lightning draw ever so near
mournful rain pulls the color from light
with a deafening sound the blinding of sight
the sky dies within my own eyes
cascading grey across my wondering mind
the colors fade and blend with the wind
and are carried off to the sunlights chagrin
