The Kiss
Hands in my hair
At the nape of my neck
Lips hovering
Breathing in your scent
Slowly you approach
I wet my lower lip
Readying myself for
Your gentle assault
A featherlight touch
At the corner of my mouth
Hot and wet
And gone too quickly
Pupils dilate
And Lashes rest
Drawn together
In this heavenly dance
Pulses quicken
As you take me in
To the only place
I have ever called home
At the nape of my neck
Lips hovering
Breathing in your scent
Slowly you approach
I wet my lower lip
Readying myself for
Your gentle assault
A featherlight touch
At the corner of my mouth
Hot and wet
And gone too quickly
Pupils dilate
And Lashes rest
Drawn together
In this heavenly dance
Pulses quicken
As you take me in
To the only place
I have ever called home
