Prison

There is this prison, that I have built
And live in every day
It has no bars , no walls
There is no fence, no gate
There are no other inmates,
No guards, no guns, no towers
Yet I'm in an endless lockdown
And I'm forever counting hours
No matter now high I climb,
nor how deep I dig
I know I will never be free
For this prison that I built,
Was build deep inside of me
This prison that I've bulit,
just like each of you that are b
Holds all my darkest secrets,
guards all my pains & fears
It's seems a daily grind
Can be cruel and unkind
But how does one escape
From the depths of ones on mind
