Broken promises...
I lost faith in promises..
For the ones that meant the most and the ones I held so close
Are the promises that are always broken
No. No. Keep the words "I promise" left unspoken.
For I cannot bear to watch them die over the passing of time
And I feel that my hope in them has begun to slowly fade
Little by little
Day. By day

I think we have all lost faith in promises in this life at times " I promise" has become a watered down "later " Line.
