The things I lack
Some consider beauty superficial;
Blue eyes, blonde hair, small waist.
We strive to obtain the average idea of perfection;
Big bust, full lips, long legs.
Others consider confidence the key to beauty;
Love yourself and you will glow.
For them, it doesn't matter what you look like;
If you love yourself, others will too.
People tend to lean to one side.
Some desire happiness on the outside,
While others learn to have it on the inside.
One would be lucky to have both.
But you see with me,
There is one small problem.
I lack in confidence as much as natural looks.
I have no trace of either.
My nose as large,
As my dislike for my self.
My weight as low,
As my confidence in myself to succeed.
Smile too crooked.
Too Awkward.
Bust too small.
Too ignorant.
It seems I will never win, will I?
