Lunar Seduction
The moon gave the sky a look of seduction.
With a sly smirk the sky blushed into sun sets,
before lighting the horizon with an aurora borealis.
He knew what that look meant.
He knew what games those eyes played.
For eons he watched as she ravished
his plane of existence.
Turning his horizon into an image for the creeps,
who danced with their hips contracting in unison,
Their lips swelling with passion,
Their hearts pumping with lust,
All under the radiant blue moon.
The sky was infatuated; He was drunk with desire.
He was delirious with pillow talk.
She, the moon who fled his mind
with irrational thoughts,
was star strucked.
She was unapologetic.
It was all a cycle.
It was all a game
of nothing more than cosmic
Cat and mouse.
