It’s the Vesuvius of my thoughts
sudden earthquake of emotion
balloon burst of too long harboured resentment
Old Faithful of memories
tidal wave of emotion
fire cracker of wit
champagne POP! of joy
sweet orgasm of love
tea pot whistling my tune
wind chime of solitude
pealing bells of spirituality
lanced boil of pain
baby’s cry of depression
lion’s roar of angst
sneeze of imagination
rolling thunder of sadness
lightning strike of passion
like a speeding train
it can’t be stopped
I need to write poetry
on this my survival depends
