The Tease
As the wind swept her hair,
I couldn't help but stare.
That gleam in her eyes
Wipes away all my lies.
Her crooked, big, wide smile
And her androgynous, unique style.
The way she carries her own,
She can make a girl feel so alone.
Then it all comes back to that stare
And her wind-swept, disheveled hair.
That one last glance and you'll know,
Her perfect silhouette is just for show.
I couldn't help but stare.
That gleam in her eyes
Wipes away all my lies.
Her crooked, big, wide smile
And her androgynous, unique style.
The way she carries her own,
She can make a girl feel so alone.
Then it all comes back to that stare
And her wind-swept, disheveled hair.
That one last glance and you'll know,
Her perfect silhouette is just for show.
