In My Empty Jar
In my house,
I do not have mirrors.
I have eyeless reflections of internal agony—
A deathless gaze without eyelids
Staring outside my empty glass jar.
Inside here I cannot escape the jar,
And I cannot escape myself,
And I cannot escape—
Being empty.
I do not have mirrors.
I have eyeless reflections of internal agony—
A deathless gaze without eyelids
Staring outside my empty glass jar.
Inside here I cannot escape the jar,
And I cannot escape myself,
And I cannot escape—
Being empty.
