I see a girl,
ragged,
hurt,
exhausted.
Her once brown eyes,
are
tired,
emotionless,
faded.

Pale,
in colored,
bruised,
skin.
Covered up,
by long sleeved
shirts,
a child cries
within.

Hair
falling,
no strength,
no shine.
Yet,
the strength
she has,
will be used
to fight.

For one day,
no more,
will she be this
lost young girl.
She bears
all the hard ships,
and wears
a radiant smile
to the world.

I know you can see
her eyes,
do you see what I see?
It's all there,
the past,
present and future,
in the mirror before me.
