MORE THAN A DREAM
MORE THAN A DREAM
Why do I weep when I leave you...
alone once again through the night
I feel something burning inside me
a feeling that feels very right
How do you feel when you leave me
alone as you are just like me
Do you wish like me things were different
Maybe one day we will see
My heart is simply a muscle
but it beats like a drum just for you
Can you hear it when we are together
My blood like a river rushes through
Why are your lips so enticing
would they be at home next to mine
Would the joy of our tongues both exploring
Be heavenly and so divine
Do wish that our arms were entangled
as our bodies paid homage to love
I believe that we both know the answer
My trust is in God up above
