Unseen Letters to God from the First Nonbeliever
Raising the bar
to set up a pedestal
Listening to the horizon line
Rise and fall, repeat them all
Soldiers listen to orders handed down from 'God'
While the church goers listen to their parent's old
firesquads.
This is the first of a few notes that came to be
collective, and relentless swimming disembodied the Man
which led to the rise of a new type of people,
and the drugs took over, and ruined their teeth.
It took a lot to get here,
far more than you'll know.
Lullabies tried to put us to sleep
But we could run a marathon
consisting of miles.
Miles of sand near a house full of fog.
Animals shook hands with the innards of these people,
instinct took over,
And God rose to power.
