Mother natures matine'e

acool gentle breeze
buttercups dance beneath the sun
repetitive swaying grass
richness of violets stand aside
in this moss beaten ground

a hawk cries in the distant

songbirds sing a stones throw
the art of technique
demonstrated
immense darting swallows
caper the skies

through and through
the smattering cloud
tickling dandelions
with every pass

before an onlooker.......

nonchalant surveillance
observing invisble blueprints
glimpse of deception forseen

seconds to minutes
mintues to hours
terrible fright has arrived

you see

the fast swift swallow

forever

is feather, bone and hollow

for the hawk gets hungry too
