We Are All That Man

Taking long walks down the dark street, It's just routine
Nothing to be seen or heard, Just peaceful quiet
Thinking of life while walking through the palm trees
The world won't hear you so you keep it inside
Till one night you hear a noise you wish you hadn't
Sneakers hurrying through the streets, You couldn't take action

Throw your hands to the air and voice your secret
No more being discrete, The demons we will defeat
Memories hold you in your place, But I'll help you move your feet
We will not retreat, We will not fleet, We'll just walk down the street

Thrust to the ground, Is there no honor in the world anymore?
Hands grabbing everywhere, Helpless through tore and tore
Screaming through the night lands on deaf ears till you're hoarse
Your blood freezes while he becomes hot, Shut down before...
Before you can feel, Before he can steal all dignity from you
You question why, Every bad decision from your shirt to your shoes

Throw your hands to the air and voice your secret
No more being discrete, The demons we will defeat
Memories hold you in your place, But I'll help you move your feet
We will not retreat, We will not fleet, We'll just walk down the street

Taking walks through your conscience is too dark for you
No longer palm trees, Just demons of secrets
You still don’t voice your thoughts, Only through your blood
Can you truly feel right, But it’s still fake because there’s still marks
Reach out and grab my hand, It’s covered in your blood
I want to help you stand, For we are all that man

He leaves but he will always remain
The memories bleed a stain
You relive it over again
We will not contain the pain
We will raise our hands to the sky
We will die to arise again

Throw your hands to the air and voice your secret
No more being discrete, The demons we will defeat
Memories hold you in your place, But I'll help you move your feet
We will not retreat, We will not fleet, We'll just walk down the street
