Of that which blocks the light
Do all
Do nothing
Go, stay
Speak and be silent
Be and be not
Die and live
Life is necessary for death, but not light for darkness. Darkness can be without light, but light is a requirement for shadows to be cast. That which stands in the way of the light casts a shadow, but it is not the shadow. And without light, there are no shadows.
That which stands in the way of the light, is something that is. To be, is to block the light. That which is not, does not hinder the light and casts no shadow. When nothing is, all shadows are gone.
When you stand in the light you can see your own shadow. It looks like you do but it is flat. In a dark room you are without a shadow. It hides in the darkness, and when you turn on the light again, it reappears. If you can stand in the light and see no shadow, you are not.
That which blocks the light is that which is. To be is to block the light. And without light, there are no shadows.
Do nothing
Go, stay

Be and be not
