My Life

I lived a life full of drugs and crime, the only thing it got me was a whole bunch of time. This time around I sit and think, if I wanna live a good life or keep washing my socks in a sink. You guess what life I'm gonna choose, keep sticking the needle in my arm or to be able to afford to buy myself a brand new pair of tennis shoes? You would have to be a fool to keep doing the thing I did I stole from my mother, hurt my family, and just being a disrespectful little kid. Now I'm going to do what I gotta do to make things right. It definitely isn't in that needle or that damn ice pipe. It's time to grow up and leave the past, but don't ever forget about it because it can come right back to you and bite you in the ass. if you don't understand I will tell you what that means. The past is what makes you stronger and leaves others begging for forgiveness on their knees. Some people only get one chance to live their life, but God gave me a second  chance so I'm going to do it right.

There is somethings that people don't know about me. That my dad died from gangrene when I was only 14, it fucked with my head and I started to think my family was playing tricks on me, that when I started living this lifestyle at only 14. I was doing good in school but switched to the streets. In and out of jail and not listening to the knowledge the older folks speak. I should have listened because they do speak the truth. The way things were going... I could have laid my head under my own roof. So what I'm trying to tell you is drugs ain't the life, so please listen to these words of wisdom and help someone else to never pay this price. Few make it out and most get stuck, and it all started from that first hit they took.
