Christmas Wishes (re edit)

Christmas wishes spoken
before the day begins,
A time for peace,
A moment to share,
before children's excitement
fills the air.

The day has arrived all to soon,
The turkey looks stuffed
Eating him at noon.

Presents unwrapped ,
Just what I'm after,
sneaky pictures taken
to look at with laughter.

The day goes by all to quick,
Telling the children.. don't eat to much,
you'll end up sick..

The evening arrives,
kids of to bed,
A new bottle opened,
I love you..
he said.

A cuddle on the sofa,
The days at an end,
thinking of tomorrow,
new messages to send..
