Gone
They took away the music
They suppressed my creativity
Moved me away from all of life
Tore my roots from the ground
Its like they want to kill me
I am a plant
They took away
The sun
They stopped watering me
And they transplanted me
I am a bird
Just hatched a week ago today
Just as I began to learn to fly
My nest was dumped
My family
Fled and I was left behind
So i was left to teach myself
I lived because I got stronger after
The day it all went wrong
I never saw them again

Your writting really impacts me. When I was a kid I was ripped out of my home and thrown into a group home. I remeber watching my parents drive away, and even though they'd visit me, I always knew they would never really come back.

My mom and dad got a divorce, they moved me around, my dad was really abusive so I live with my mom but I go through a lot because she doesn't really understand me and the way I am.
