Tree of Eden
O African tree
O Tree, it was never planted
Gave birth to our natural world
Good and evil
Knowledge and wisdom
O tree of my pride lands
Feeding my nature
Watering my pastures
Yielding all the fruits for my children’s children
Girt up my loins
With the fervor of the prophets
One with He
Or She…
That cast the stars overhead
Laid the seas
8th wonder of the world
Is me
O Tree
I’m humbled as I set under you extensions
High as the sky
Close to the earth
Covering and hovering
My Godhead
I respect your crown
And grateful for crowning me
Womb-man
To do as you do in every season
To die and live again
Is the vision
Of tree of Eden
I’ll come back to thee
Reconciled and healed
Of this world’s misery
But I won’t be alone
But with Adam in tow
Hand and hand
Like in creation
We’ll return to
Pay homage
Forgiven and restored
To our true King
Oh tree of Eden
Thank you
