PASTURES NOT SO GREEN
PASTURES NOT SO GREEN
Those once lush green pastures that once carpeted the land…
Have now been removed… no remnants or remorse
Men simply chopping away at mother earth…
As she remonstrates peacefully
The transition to intercepting and never ending roads…
To here and to there continues…
Torturing her, hurting her, breaking her down…
Only for power and greed
You are nothing who dares to tread here with no soul…
Bringing only your jackboot belief…
Leave now…you and your ilk
Mother earth weeps gently as the rain falls
We will be here to protect her just as she has provided for us…
Our ensemble of peace and love…shall overpower thee
No longer beguiled we have seen the light
We love you mother earth
Those once lush green pastures that once carpeted the land…
Have now been removed… no remnants or remorse
Men simply chopping away at mother earth…
As she remonstrates peacefully
The transition to intercepting and never ending roads…
To here and to there continues…
Torturing her, hurting her, breaking her down…
Only for power and greed
You are nothing who dares to tread here with no soul…
Bringing only your jackboot belief…
Leave now…you and your ilk
Mother earth weeps gently as the rain falls
We will be here to protect her just as she has provided for us…
Our ensemble of peace and love…shall overpower thee
No longer beguiled we have seen the light
We love you mother earth
