An Unfortunate  Love

Love...something we can live without
An emotion we can never understand
People fall in it, not knowing what it's about
But love can and has proven to have serious reprimand

It's something that can be easily taken out of context
People tend to use it very loosely
For many it is something very perplex
Especially when one uses it profusely

Can be more damaging than any knives or guns
A weapon that goes straight to the heart
Like being crushed under rocks weighing tons
When reality sets in that you've grown apart

Life was altered all for the sake of love
You opened your heart which was rare for you
Someone you felt you would never get enough of
Little did you know what your heart will soon go through

The many I love you's, your world was so high
Then they were gone with the blink of an eye
The hurt so painful you wished you could die
The thing that hurt the most, there was never a goodbye
