Poem
I take this life
One step at a time
Never looking ahead
Never looking behind
I try as hard as I can
Every second of everyday
But it seems like
This place will never be ok
My mind is clear
My heart is pure
And yet my soul is full of tears
As much as it hurts
I will never give up
Forever pushing forward
Until my heart stops
When that day comes
Don't cry for me
I've been dead for years
You just couldn't see
The only one that saved me
Too bad she will never know
Is the 3 year old
Sleeping right down the hall
