Farewell to a Friend

Jealousy skews perspectives
Am I not who I seem?
Are you the judge of me?
Neigh, for I am the judge of my own identity
While you sit and spoil in the rot you lay in
I have been bearing the idiocy you have displayed in front of me
Eroding inside, you live on a stump of Bureaucracy
Bereaving the soul you so ashamed of saying is your own
Pointing the fingers that shrill from your slowly dying grueling body
Extending from the greasy sludge of the heart within
You are no longer a friend,  you accusing, falsifying,  manipulative scheme
I wish I could have seen to save myself pity and kindness
Woe to you
I Elaborately wasted on years of lost hope
So much to offer to a true soul
Only to find the flaked was ruined me
Return to the judgemental staff you grip and crash down on the earth
Crumble the kindness like the ground you step on
I am no longer your destructing pedistool
Move along to rest your feet on another blind and sensitive being
I am no more your object like you have deliberately shown
I have out clevered your wits that aren't so witty
So long to a lifetime of reconstructed patches and bruises from your hateful words
I am gone as the tranquility of your soul and the face I used to know
So long to all I have tried to keep alive
As I depart from this broken bridge
I set aside the wretched ridges we stumbled upon
Moving forth from the burnt wick that flickered and the shattering ice cracked from the fragile steps so carefully taken
Stepping off, a breathe of despair and relief
It has been a shallow drop from the deep end
Goodbye, my once true friend
