Changed My World

There was a time when my heart was hollow
When I felt alone, with no one to follow

The world was bleak, its colour faded
Skies went dark, and hope became jaded

Flowers all dead, trees stood only bare
My tears watered the ground, with no one to care

Spiders spun webs of only doom and dismay
Making homes in my soul, little places to stay

This was my fate, to never see skies ever blue
It was a horrible time, untill the day i met you

The heavens broke open, and showered apon us joy
One last time I managed to avoid loneliness's ploy

Now blossoms bloom under chrystal blue skies
The spiders all dead, replaced only by butterflies

You are the reason, the one that is to blame
For changing my world, never to be the same

My life now has light since we are together
And i will fight to make sure it stays forever
