Judged and Forgiven
I was nothing but a witness to your hate crime
I saw the blood drip out of your blackened eyes
I was nothing but a victim in your hate crime
I saw the tears drip out of my blackened eyes
Broken hearts and cold glances, A parting of skin
Mistaken and misunderstood, A tragedy I crave
You were my drug, My veins, My monetary cost
You paid it, You paid the fucking cost, You faded away
In ashes, In the fire, I burned you to the fucking ground
And as your eyes looked upon me, I saw a glimmer of regret
Pity, You could have shown that yesterday or a thousand days
Instead you stood there for the first time, Judged and forgiven
A thousand losses I took, For a thousand of your pitying looks
I never needed you to look at me with such sympathizing eyes
I needed you to look at me before the purity inside me died
I needed you to look inside yourself and find in me a heart left beating
