In Praise of the ample figure 2
Women come in different shapes
Their sizes measured with cloth tapes
Many still strive to be slim
And exercise to be in trim
Others diet to no avail
Try this and that but often fail
The vision of a perfect woman
Are all reflected by the ad man
Is it not time to admit
The stereotype does not fit
The majority of woman kind
Cannot be thus defined
The shape of woman that I favour
Have some flesh that I can savour
They are so good to cuddle
Softer when in bed to huddle
They often are more relaxed
Than those whose diets have collapsed
A chubby woman is much better
Than one who's thin and often bitter
I do not advocate that people be obese
But somewhere in between at least
The very thin look sad and ill
A bit of flesh makes them look well
Their sizes measured with cloth tapes
Many still strive to be slim
And exercise to be in trim
Others diet to no avail
Try this and that but often fail
The vision of a perfect woman
Are all reflected by the ad man
Is it not time to admit
The stereotype does not fit
The majority of woman kind
Cannot be thus defined
The shape of woman that I favour
Have some flesh that I can savour
They are so good to cuddle
Softer when in bed to huddle
They often are more relaxed
Than those whose diets have collapsed
A chubby woman is much better
Than one who's thin and often bitter
I do not advocate that people be obese
But somewhere in between at least
The very thin look sad and ill
A bit of flesh makes them look well
