The Temptress
The Temptress
I walked alone in the woods
And sat upon the grass
When along came a maiden fair
And sat right next to me
I was shy and didn’t know
What to say or do
But she wasn’t shy at all
And touched me on the knee
The day was hot and humid
And she sidled up to me
Soon I overcame my shyness
It was my very first time
Never done this before, I said
And I am thirty-eight
Well I’ve done it lots of times
And I’m only twenty-three
It was a beautiful experience
But I never saw her again
I walked alone in the woods
And sat upon the grass
When along came a maiden fair
And sat right next to me
I was shy and didn’t know
What to say or do
But she wasn’t shy at all
And touched me on the knee
The day was hot and humid
And she sidled up to me
Soon I overcame my shyness
It was my very first time
Never done this before, I said
And I am thirty-eight
Well I’ve done it lots of times
And I’m only twenty-three
It was a beautiful experience
But I never saw her again
