Grain of Salt
As I sit and stare into the crisp, autumn air
I suddenly realize, that life is going by too fast for me.
I feel as if I cannot stop and smell the roses
and that I cannot be immersed within my culture.
I have lost a home, but I cannot linger on it.
I have lost family, but I cannot linger on it.
Live, Love, Laugh;
Do they believe it to be so easy?
Do they understand life's woes?
Each day must be taken with a grain of salt...
